the San Francisco-based asset manager that focuses on
Asia, has announced that Beonca Yip has joined as head of
Asia-Pacific.
Yip (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s business in the Asia-Pacific region as well as leading its distribution activities, with a particular focus on the firm’s growing institutional business. She will continue to expand the firm’s growing client base in the region and tailor investment solutions that meet the needs of investors in the region.
Yip has over 28 years of experience in senior distribution leadership roles where she served both sophisticated institutional asset owners and advisory channel clients across the APAC region. Previously, as managing director, head of global client group based in Beijing, she led the distribution and client service teams at China Asset Management. Prior to that she served in senior roles that included head of advisor business – Asia at Investec Asset Management and head of retail sales in Asia and Europe for Eastspring Investments, the firm said in a statement.
