PineBridge Investments Names Taiwan CIO

PineBridge Investments, the global multi-asset class management firm, has named a new chief investment officer for its Taiwan business.

Joseph Tang steps in as vice president and CIO with immediate effect, said the firm in a statement. In this role, Tang will oversee the management of local and overseas equities and fixed income, as well as fund of funds. He is based in Taipei and reports to Ann Yan, Taiwan chief executive.

Prior to the appointment, Tang was the CIO for Value Partners Concord Asset Management. He also previously worked for JTM Capital Partners and JP Morgan Asset Management. 

PineBridge manages around $69.1 billion for investors worldwide as at 30 September 2013. Its Asian business covers offices in Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
