Standard Chartered China Announces New Priority Private Centre

Opening the centre is part of a build-out of the bank's capabilities in mainland China.
Standard Chartered, the UK-listed bank, has unveiled the grand opening of its first “priority private centre” in mainland China. Situated in Shanghai’s central business district, the centre caters to high net worth clients.
Strategically located at Plaza66 in Shanghai, the Nanjing West Road Branch’s priority private centre has been created with Chinese, and particularly Shanghai, aesthetics.
The bank said it offers a banking experience with one-stop convenience and exclusivity, by means of a connected, counter-to-conference-room design.
Separately, Standard Chartered has launched an enhanced priority private proposition, giving clients a chance to tap into local and international opportunities to accumulate, preserve and distribute their wealth.
“The opening of the priority private centre and the launch of the enhanced priority private proposition signify Standard Chartered’s commitment to and insistence on high quality development,” Richard Li, deputy chief executive, head of consumer, private and business banking of Standard Chartered China, said.
Services that priority private clients can enjoy include legacy and succession planning, access to global investment opportunities, enterprise and philanthropic advisory services.
Standard Chartered has recently
reported its third-quarter financial results.
