Standard Chartered Builds Out DPM Team In Singapore

The bank said the appointments demonstrate its desire to boost its wealth business and serve groups such as those in the affluent category.
Standard Chartered has made senior appointments to its discretionary portfolio management team in Singapore.
The appointees:
-- Sylvain Huard (head of asset allocation), who comes from BNP
Paribas Wealth Management, now reports to Daniel Furer, global
head for DPM;
-- Sarah Lee (senior equity portfolio manager), who joined from
Indosuez Asset Management; and
-- Chiang Ming Rong (portfolio analyst), arriving from Schroders.
In other recent news, this week, Standard Chartered launched Invest Like Champions, a global marketing campaign developed in partnership with Liverpool Football Club, to elevate the bank’s Signature CIO Funds across 12 markets.
