JP Morgan Private Bank has bolstered its team in Paris with a new appointment.

Charles-Louis d’Orléans has been appointed senior private banker, reporting to Jean-Baptiste Douin, head of JP Morgan Private Bank in France.

Prior to joining the firm Mr d’Orléans was a director in the wealth advisory department at Rothschild & Cie, also in the French capital, where he was responsible for advising high net worth individuals on their tax, financial, legal and estate planning. Before that, he was a vice president at Lazard in its mergers and acquisitions department.

“Charles-Louis’ wealth of experience and strong network make him an ideal addition to our expanding team and his appointment highlights our commitment to our ultra high net worth clients in France,” said Mr Douin, head of JP Morgan Private Bank in France.
