, has appointed Michael Ostro as head of alternative specialists, based in Singapore.

Prior to this, Ostro was head of investor relations in the private markets group at Union Bancaire Privée.

Ostro reports to Gian Maria Piccolo, the private bank’s head of investment management for emerging markets and will work with investment, product and front office teams in different regions. 

In July, Deutsche Bank said Jennifer Tay, formerly of Citibank, had joined the German lender as vice chair for Southeast Asia, reporting to head of Southeast Asia, Johanes Oeni.
