AMINA Aims For Easier Client Experience To Take Growth Up Another Level

There is ferment about cryptocurrencies and digital assets, but a barrier in the past has been that potential users have been put off by the complexities of opening an account and trading entities such as bitcoin. AMINA, which began talking to Mesh about two years ago, has also been looking at the client experience issue for some time. “We knew that this was a pain point,” Harrison said.
Making the “user experience” as painless as possible is a large reason why and are being pushed to use it and get more cost-effectiveness in their business when a stablecoin comes into play,” he said.
Mesh allows clients to verify wallet ownership, and deposit stablecoins and digital assets in a single, streamlined flow across more than 300 wallet providers.
AMINA wants to ride a rising wave of stablecoin usage, for example. Citing figures from Bessemer Venture Partners, AMINA said real-world stablecoin payments doubled in 2025 to $400 billion even as broader crypto markets declined. Some 60 per cent of rising stablecoin volume came from business-to-business flows in areas such as corporate treasury, cross-border settlement, and payment service providers clearing transactions for their clients.
The APAC region is fertile for stablecoins as people, such as offshore contractors, expect to be paid in forms that aren’t reliant on domestic fiat currencies in specific countries, Harrison said.
“We were in a position where we couldn’t solve this issue on our own and needed a partner to work with,” he continued.
Working with Mesh also gives AMINA supplementary KYC information that helps both the business and clients.
As regulations evolve and hopefully harmonise, developments such as the partnership with Mesh will keep AMINA at the forefront of the market, he added.
AMINA’s most recent licence was in 2025, when it received a CASP licence from Austria’s Financial Market Authority under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCAR) framework. In 2023, the bank won the European WealthBriefing Award in the Digital Assets Solution, Fund Manager category. Last year, this news service interviewed AMINA in Hong Kong about developments in the city, and further afield.
