Liew is joining from Fullerton Fund Management, where he was managing director and head of institutional client solutions, leading relationships with central banks, insurers and endowments across equities, fixed income and private equity mandates. He has also worked at Colchester Global Investors, Cambridge Associates, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and PIMCO, the firm said in a recent statement.

Baillie Gifford, founded more than a century ago, has worked with clients across Asia for more than 30 years. The firm manages around $8 billion for clients in Asia ex-Japan, serving institutional and intermediary clients across mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
