HSBC In Singapore Leans Into Health, Wellness Priorities For Affluent Clients

in Singapore has launched new health and wellness services under its Premier offering for affluent clients.

The new privileges cover priority access, preventative care and longevity services in a single proposition, the bank said. Benefits will come from healthcare providers including IHH Healthcare Singapore, partners across IHH’s network, and Raffles Medical Group for coverage in Singapore and across Asia.

The new offerings are an example of how the worlds of health and wealth management intersect in Asia, as shown here in the case of Standard Chartered. Such services provide a way of embedding client relationships more deeply, enabling relationship managers and others more opportunities to underscore what a bank can do for its clients.

Explaining its rationale, HSBC said that as life expectancy continues to rise, studies show that affluent people give high priority to improving personal and family wellness, according it the same rank as travel and lifestyle goals, and ahead of luxury spending.

The bank said that over the last five years, the number of customers making health-related transactions via an HSBC credit card has risen 35 per cent.

In 2025, HSBC introduced a Health & Wellness Centre in its Star Vista wealth centre, the bank opened its fourth largest wealth centre at Singapore Land Tower, and its first-ever dedicated Premier Elite space in Singapore.
