Senior Asia Banker Joins Credit Suisse's Wealth Arm

The former wealth management head for Southeast Asia at Deutsche Bank, Kwong Kin Mun, is to become vice chairman for wealth management in Southeast Asia at , the bank – which is in the process of being absorbed by UBS – said yesterday.

Kwong Kin Mun will be based in Singapore, reporting to Benjamin Cavalli, head of wealth management Asia-Pacific. The appointment will take effect from 27 March.

With a total of more than four decades’ wealth industry experience, Kwong Kin Mun served in senior roles at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management as head of Southeast Asia, and worked also at DBS Private Bank as head of South Asia. He has also worked at Citibank, UBS, Standard Chartered and Merrill Lynch. He was awarded the Singapore IBF Fellowship in 2017 in recognition of his contributions to the private banking industry and was a member of the Private Banking Industry Group (PBIG) Committee for many years.
