Carey Olsen Trumpets Workplace Inclusion Credentials

, the offshore law firm, has added its voice to the environmental, social and governance (ESG) chorus by launching a Hong Kong photography competition to celebrate diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
The firm on 30 December 2019 launched its inaugural edition of the Carey Olsen Photography Awards.
The theme is Portrait of a Colleague. Entrants are invited to photograph a colleague or peer and submit the image along with a 200-word caption that describes its significance.
Awards will be judged by figures from Hong Kong’s photography scene documentary photographer Paul Cox; portrait photographer and teacher Kenneth Lim; and art director and fashion photographer Matryoshka Wadhwani.
The competition is open to all Hong Kong-based photographers and closes for entries on 14 February 2020. The winning photographs will be announced on the 1 April at a private event and exhibited at the firm's offices in Jardine House.
Carey Olsen, which opened in Hong Kong in 2016, pointed out it is one of the supporting firms of HKGALA, an organisation dedicated to promoting LGBT+ diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
