Net profit at Privatbank IHAG based in Zurich rose 30 per cent last year to SFr11.9 million ($9.14 million) on revenues that were 19 per cent ahead of last year’s at SFr40.5 million, according to Reuters.

Founded shortly after the second world war, Privatbank IHAG employs about 80 people and is owned by members of the Buhrle family.

Last year the bank opened an office in Lugano to target offshore Italian high net worth investment.
