The latest moves in the Asia-Pacific wealth management arena.

Generali Asia, part of Italy-headquartered financial services group Generali, has appointed former senior AXA manager Bruce de Broize as new head of distribution for Asia. 

The new appointee will report to Roberto Leonardi, regional officer for Asia. De Broize is based in Hong Kong and responsible for driving growth across a number of fronts in Asia, by formulating and implementing new strategies for all distribution channels.

With more than 29 years of insurance experience, de Broize has held senior management roles in life and property and casualty insurance companies in South Africa, Australia, and Asia-Pacific (in particular Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong).

Previously, de Broize was the regional chief distribution Officer for AXA Asia, where he was responsible for building professional distribution capability, distribution management, and transformation of Life & P&C channels.
