Newmark, a commercial real estate advisor and service provider to investors, global corporations and others, has appointed Roy Ng (pictured) as head of research in Hong Kong, strengthening the firm’s research capabilities across the region.

Ng will be responsibsle for leading market research, forecasting and thought leadership across office, industrial, retail and capital markets, supporting clients with data-driven insights amid evolving occupier and investment dynamics. He will work with Newmark’s regional and global research teams to expand coverage, enhance analytical rigour and align local intelligence with global trends, the firm said in a statement.

Ng brings more than a decade of experience across real estate research, leasing and strategic advisory roles, with a background spanning commercial leasing, capital markets analysis and regional research leadership. He has held senior positions across leading real estate firms, delivering market outlooks, forecasts and advisory insights for investors, developers and occupiers across Hong Kong and the Greater Pearl River Delta.

“Hong Kong represents one of the world’s most complex and dynamic real estate markets,” said Rhodri James, vice chairman in Hong Kong. “As capital flows, occupier strategies and policy dynamics continue to shift, rigorous, locally-grounded research is essential to unlocking opportunity.”

For the 12 months ending 31 December 2025, Newmark generated revenues of nearly $3.3 billion.
