Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Janus Henderson
The latest moves and appointments for senior roles for Asia-Pacific wealth management.
London-based asset manager Janus Henderson has appointed Victoria Mio (pictured) as portfolio manager and head of Greater China equities, based in Singapore.
Starting this week, Mio will report to Lucas Klein, head of EMEA and APAC equities, the firm said in a statement. Mio, who has more than two decades of expertise in Chinese equities investment, was at Robeco for 14 years where she last served as chief investment officer China and co-head of Asia-Pacific equities, the firm continued.
During her tenure at Robeco she managed multiple mutual funds and institutional mandates in China offshore and A shares. Throughout her career, she has held various senior positions including at Fidelity International where she served as head of equity research, APAC, leading their equity research team in Asia-Pacific for three years.
“With her on board, we are well-positioned to capitalise on the opportunities presented by the Chinese market while diligently managing the associated risks,” Lucas Klein, head of EMEA and APAC equities, said.
