The latest moves and appointments for senior roles for Asia-Pacific wealth management.

Eastspring Investments
Eastspring Investments, the $239 billion asset management business of Prudential, has appointed Dominic Wong as regional head of intermediary sales, with immediate effect.

Based in Hong Kong, Wong (pictured) will be responsible for leading and growing Eastspring’s intermediary business. He will report to chief distribution officer Salman Haider.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the asset management industry in Asia, Wong has led regional distribution for some of the largest international investment firms. Most recently, he was head of intermediary distribution, Asia ex-Japan, at BNY Mellon Investment Management, where he oversaw the firm’s intermediary business across Greater China and Southeast Asia. Prior to that, he was head of Northeast Asia intermediary business at Fidelity International for more than a decade. Wong has also served as head of retail sales, Hong Kong, for BlackRock.

“Accelerating the growth of our intermediary business is a key priority for Eastspring,” Haider said. “Dominic’s extensive experience and deep relationships with intermediaries and wealth managers will be critical as we drive our efforts across our distribution teams to position Eastspring as a solutions partner of choice for the intermediary channels in Asia.”
