The latest senior moves in asset and wealth management from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Value Partners Group
Hong Kong-listed Value Partners Group has appointed June Wong as its president.

Based in Hong Kong, Wong is responsible for managing the group’s overall business and corporate strategy and operations, reporting to the group’s co-chairmen and co-chief investment officers Dato’ Seri Cheah Cheng Hye and Louis So. She will also become a member of the group’s leadership committee alongside the group’s co-chairmen.

Most recently, Wong was Asia ex-Japan chief executive for State Street Global Advisors. Before that, she served as vice chairman for Asia-Pacific at Columbia Threadneedle. Her other senior leadership roles included senior managing director and head of Asia ex-Japan institutional business at AllianceBernstein and head of business development at HSBC Asset Management. 

Wong also serves on the advisory committee of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong.

Indosuez Wealth Management
Indosuez Wealth Management, global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole group, has appointed Josephine Tom as fixed income specialist for the bank’s Hong Kong branch, with immediate effect.

Tom has more than 20 years’ experience specialising in fixed income. Prior to joining Indosuez, she spent 16 years with DBS Bank in Hong Kong, where she was fixed income sales head for more than two years. She began her career with Societe Generale in Hong Kong in 2001 as vice-president of origination/syndicates/structured derivatives, covering Greater China and South Korea.

In this role Tom reports to Timothy Tsang, head of investment solutions and deputy head of markets, Investments and structuring at Indosuez’s Hong Kong branch.
