The latest moves in wealth management across Asia.
AxiomSL
AxiomSL, a provider of
risk and regulatory reporting solutions, has appointed David
Wormald as its Asia-Pacific regional sales director, as part of
an expansion in the region.
Reporting to APAC chief executive Peter Tierney, Wormald, who will be based in Hong Kong, will look after the firm’s go-to-market strategies in Asia-Pacific, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
With more than 25 years’ experience in sales and business development, Wormald was most recently with Thomson Reuters Financial and Risk division in Asia-Pacific, where he headed up the sales of the firm’s Enterprise Content & Capabilities area. Before that, he was regional sales manager for NYSE Technologies and was APAC head of business development for Broadridge in Hong Kong.
AxiomSL's platform supports compliance with a range of global and local regulations, including the Dodd- Frank Act and Basel III. Such firms have seen their business grow amid a surge of regulation following the 2008 global financial crisis.
Savills Investment Management
Savills
Investment Management, an international real estate
investment manager, has appointed Benedict Lai as Asia research
manager, the firm said in a statement.
Lai joins Savills IM with over 10 years of experience in property research. Prior to this, he held various positions at PGIM Real Estate (previously known as Pramerica Real Estate Investors), Capital Malls Asia Limited, and Jones Lang LaSalle.
In his new role, Lai will be responsible for developing views on Asia-Pacific real estate markets and providing thought leadership for new fund ideas and investment themes for Savills IM. He will report to Kiran Patel, chief investment officer.
Natixis Global Asset Management
Natixis Global Asset Management has appointed Tony Huang as general manager and head of institutional business development for Taiwan.
He has more than 20 years' experience in the country, and most recently served as senior vice president and head of business development at Neuberger Berman.
He reports to Kinji Kato, executive managing director and head of Japan for Natixis Global.
