Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Procyon Partners, Chatham Financial, Others

The latest in senior wealth management moves from across North America.

Procyon Partners
Zoltan Pongracz has joined the Connecticut office of Procyon Partners as senior vice president and senior private wealth advisor. Pongracz previously managed client assets at Connecticut-based financial planner Barnum Financial Group. He is making the move with two associates, private wealth advisor Jake McCarthy and service associate Mickey Herbert.

Pongracz’s primary focus has been working with clients on business exit planning, transitional planning, administering corporate education programs for Fortune 500 companies; and working with current and retired professional athletes as an NFL Players Association Registered Financial Advisor.

Procyon Partners merged with Pivotal Planning Group earlier this year as part of expansion plans, resulting in a Florida office and the launch of its Procyon Benefits business.

The firm is part of the Dynasty Financial Partners’ Network of RIAs and serves clients from offices in Connecticut, New York City, Long Island, West Palm Beach, and Virginia Beach, managing an estimated $5 billion in client assets.

Chatham Financial
Chatham Financial, the US-based financial risk management advisory and technology firm, yesterday said it has named chairman Matt Henry as chief executive, taking effect from January 1. He has been with the business for 17 years.

After joining in 2004, Henry served as managing partner and global head of real estate for the past eight years. He also manages strategies for Chatham’s technology and advisory solutions and played a significant role expanding Chatham’s presence in Europe.

The firm said it intends to ramp up its investment in technology in 2022 and further ahead.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisors Benjamin Clauss, Doug Ellison and Brad LaRue to Raymond James & Associates - the firm’s employee advisor channel. The team operates as The Clauss & Ellison Group of Raymond James.

Based in Greenville, South Carolina, the group is joined by senior client relationship associates Cathy Logan and Amanda Wood. They previously managed $670 million in client assets as part of Merrill Lynch.
