The latest moves in wealth management across Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Pictet has confirmed that it has hired Sanjeev Premchand as a senior relationship manager for the Middle East and Asia, a remit that also covers the Indian sub-continent.

Premchand, who previously worked at rival Swiss private bank Julius Baer, will report to Daniel Savary, head of the Middle East business for Pictet.

Since former Julius Baer chief executive, Boris Collardi, left to take up a senior post at Geneva-based Pictet almost two years ago, the firm has been focusing on its hiring policy.
