Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Credit Suisse

The latest moves in wealth management across the world.

Credit Suisse has created the new role of global head of environmental, social and governance strategy, an example of how ESG is continuing to push up the wealth management and investment agenda.

The bank has appointed Daniel Wild to the post, which sits in its Impact Advisory & Finance department. Wild joins from RobecoSAM where he was co-chief executive of the investment specialist, a sustainable asset management firm.

Based in Zurich, Wild will start later in 2019 and report to Marisa Drew, CEO, IAF.

“Since establishing the IAF department in October 2017, we have invested significantly in our franchise and have made great strides in responding to the material growth in interest from our clients for ESG and impact investing opportunities,” Drew said.

Wild worked at RobecoSAM for more than 12 years, serving as co-CEO since 2018. During the same period, he was also head of sustainability and impact for the parent company, Robeco. Other roles at RobecoSAM included head of research and development and head of industrials. Prior to that, he spent two years with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, before which he was head of environmental technology at Ernst Basler & Partners.
