BNY Mellon Wealth Management 
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Claudine Welti as senior wealth director in New York.

Welti will report to managing director, Katia Friend, and will be responsible for new business development in the Tri-State region.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Welti was in the New York office of US Trust, Bank of America for 8 years, most recently as a senior vice president and private client advisor.  She worked with high net worth individuals and families, as well as foundations and endowments to design and implement wealth strategies which incorporated investments, credit and planning.

Fiduciary Trust
Global wealth manager Fiduciary Trust, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Manuel Cabielles as managing director and business development officer.

Cabielles, a 35-year veteran of the wealth management industry, is based in Fiduciary Trust’s South Florida office in Coral Gables, and has spent more than 20 years working directly with individuals and families in Miami and Latin America as a wealth advisor.

He was most recently an advisor and relationship manager at WE Family Offices, a multi-family office in Miami. Before joining WE Family Offices, he was managing director and senior private banker for Latin America at Banco Itau International’s Itau Private Bank.

Bernstein Private Wealth Management
Bernstein Private Wealth Management has appointed William Bijesse as vice president and family office specialist in the Boston office.

In this role, Bijesse will continue to serve as a trusted advisor to single and multi-family offices and to ultra-high net worth clients.

Prior to joining Bernstein, Bijesse spent over 20 years advising family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, and institutional clients at both Goldman Sachs and Cambridge Associates.

He will continue to serve as a member of a US family office CIO asset collaboration group.

Advisory Group
Advisor Group, the independent financial advisory firms, has appointed Shannon Larson as senior vice president and product management and development, and Daniel Aguillon as vice president and digital platform manager.

In her new role, Larson will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction of Advisor Group, and she will work to ensure the development of holistic financial planning solutions.

Larson will join the team from investment management firm Eaton Vance, where she held the position of vice president and senior global relationship manager.

Aguillon will be responsible for helping digital strategy for both advisors and consumers. In this role, he will be collaborating with custodians, overseeing legal procedures, forms and processes to help improve the experience for both the customers and the advisors.

He joins Advisor Group from LPL Financial, an RIA custodian and independent broker-dealer. At LPL, Aguillon oversaw the development of guided wealth portfolios, LPL's algorithmic digital advisory platform, and designed the advisor-intermediated model and operational workflows necessary to support it.

WSFS Bank
WSFS Bank, a division of WSFS Financial Corporation, has appointed Steven Kochie as senior vice president and director of WSFS Wealth Client Management.

In this role, Kochie will look to provide customized solutions tailored to the evolving needs of high net worth individuals. Kochie will also lead a business group that will utilise WSFS’s private banking offerings with the solutions offered through WSFS Bank and WSFS subsidiaries, including WSFS Wealth Investments, Cypress Capital Management, West Capital Management, Powdermill Financial Solutions and Christiana Trust.

Kochie joins WSFS from Wilmington Trust, where for more than a decade he led a team providing holistic financial solutions to high net worth individuals and to trust and commercial customers. He has more than 20 years in wealth and private banking experience.
