Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Argent, Cresset

The latest moves in the North America wealth management market.
Argent Trust Company, the US firm, has appointed Jill Knight Nalty as its business development officer in its New Orleans office. She will report to market president Kevin Reed.
Nalty has 13 years of banking experience in New Orleans having served the banking community at Hibernia National Bank and First Commerce Corporation. She has spent her most recent decades in fundraising efforts in the non-profit sector in the New Orleans community. In particular, she has worked with Children's Hospital, Ochsner Pediatrics, Junior Achievement, and the Audubon Institute.
She serves on the board of Baptist community ministries and has served on the boards of the Edward G. Schlieder Educational Foundation, the Junior League of New Orleans, and the Young Leadership Council. In addition, she has been involved with a number of New Orleans activist groups such as Women of the Storm, Katrina Krewe, Girls on the Run, and Heart of Passion.
Earlier in her career, Nalty worked for more than a decade in the New Orleans banking industry, holding positions at Hibernia National Bank, First National Bank of Commerce and Whitney National Bank.

wealth and family office offerings, has appointed Bill Rudnick as
general counsel.
Rudnick most recently served as a partner with DLA Piper. Rudnick and DLA Piper have been working with Chicago-based Cresset since its inception in 2017. He has experience of counseling entrepreneurs on such matters as growth strategy, corporate and family governance, structuring, strategic planning, succession planning and technology.
Rudnick has served in numerous leadership roles with DLA, including managing partner of the Chicago office and leader of DLA Piper's strategic planning and real estate strategy committees.
Since 2017, Cresset has recruited more than 90 team members across seven offices.
