The latest moves in the Asia-Pacific wealth management sector.

Allianz Global Investors
Germany-headquartered Allianz Global Investors has appointed Philip Tso as head of institutional solutions for the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, Tso is mainly in charge of guiding AllianzGI’s strategy in the region. He will also work with the Hong Kong institutional team to maintain senior client relationships.

Tso has more than 20 years of experience in investment consulting. Prior to joining AllianzGI, he worked in Willis Towers Watson as director, head of investments in Hong Kong and acted as a lead consultant for key pension, reserve and endowment funds and advised them on investment-related services.
