Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - AMP, MSCI

The latest moves in wealth management across Asia-Pacific.

AMP Capital has appointed Debbie Alliston as chief investment officer in the Australia-listed firm’s multi-asset group.

With more than A$62 billion in multi-asset funds under management as at 31 December 2018, the multi-asset group delivers tailored investment solutions for clients including asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction. The group’s 27 investment professionals are responsible for the investment management of AMP Capital’s Multi-Asset, Diversified and Multi-Manager funds. These funds are constructed by blending investments across multiple asset classes and investment managers.

Reporting to Simon Warner, AMP Capital global head of public markets, Alliston will be responsible for a range of teams.

Alliston is the firm’s head of multi-asset portfolio management and she is portfolio manager for AMP’s default Corporate Super offerings.

Prior to joining AMP Capital, she worked at Apostle Asset Management as an investment director since 2007, where she was responsible for the management of the ongoing affiliate programme, including investment due diligence and manager selection and review.

From 1991 to 2007 she was with BT Financial Group (formerly Rothschild Asset Management) in a range of roles, including head of investments where she was charged with the management of the BT investment team.
