The latest moves and appointments in wealth management across the Asia-Pacific region.

Union Bancaire Privée has appointed Roger Meier as head of sales and client trading for Asia, reporting to Dimitri Platonoff, head of treasury and trading for Asia.

Prior to this role, Meier had led the structured products advisory and sales teams at Julius Baer, covering the Asia-Pacific region since 2010. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. 

Meier will be responsible for the strategic development of client-related trading propositions and sales linked to foreign exchange, structured products, and equity derivatives.

Based in Singapore, he will work closely with wealth management and investment services to grow revenues by enhancing the current product and platform offering.
