Deutsche Bank
The German bank has appointed Vitita Theeraporn (main photo) as
director in the Thailand team in its Southeast Asia region at
Deutsche Bank Private Bank.
Based in Singapore and reporting to Paul Handley, Theeraporn brings more than 16 years of experience from Siam Commercial Bank, where she held senior positions in strategy, branch management, and private banking business development, according to a memo from Deutsche Bank as seen by this publication. Her earlier career includes positions at GE Capital and Capital OK Company in Thailand. Theeraporn holds a master of science from Northwestern University and a bachelor of arts from Chulalongkorn University.
UBS
A UBS team head covering
the non-resident Indian (NRI) segment has left the Swiss firm.
Bikram Sen is departing after working at UBS for more than a year; he also spent almost four years at Credit Suisse (subsequently bought by UBS in March 2023).
Prior to this, Sen was team head with the Global South Asia and Middle East business of Bank of Singapore.
When asked by WealthBriefingAsia about the matter, UBS declined to comment.
Charles Russell Speechlys

Russell Speechlys has appointed three partners in its Hong
Kong and London offices.
Francis Li and Wendy Fong have joined the corporate team in Hong Kong and Jue Jun Lu has come on board the commercial dispute resolution team in London.
The partners’ arrival marks a step forward in the firm’s “strategic ambition” to grow its international private capital offering in key markets, including Asia, it said.
Li and Fong have come from Squire Patton Boggs, Hong Kong, where they established a practice in corporate finance, equity capital markets, cross-border transactions and advisory work for a wide range of conglomerates in different jurisdictions. Li has served as partner since 2006 and Fong since 2018.
Lu, who has joined from DLA Piper, has a particular focus on international arbitration. With nearly 15 years’ experience in resolving complex, cross-border commercial disputes, Lu is especially noted for her expertise in Asia and Chinese-related matters.
