The latest moves and appointments for senior roles for Asia-Pacific wealth management.
Private Wealth Management Association

In November, Khoo’s predecessor, Peter Stein, left to join the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA).
WealthBriefingAsia has asked the PWMA for comment and clarification and may update in due course. It had not responded at the time of going to press.
CMC Markets
UK-listed online trading firm CMC Markets has
appointed Kurt Mayell as head of CMC Markets Singapore.
Mayell has worked in various roles at CMC such as in sales, marketing, sales trading, and dealing. Before CMC, he was an investment analyst at one of Australia’s largest independent financial advisors, previously Dixon Advisory.
The group serves retail and institutional clients through regulated offices and branches in 12 countries, present in the UK, Australia, Germany, and Singapore.
M&G
M&G
Real Estate, part of M&G, private markets business,
has promoted Daniel Cho as head of Korea, as the firm strengthens
engagement in the Korean real estate market. Based in Seoul, Cho
will drive M&G’s growth initiatives and deal-sourcing
capabilities in Korea’s real estate sector. He is
succeeding Ryu Hyesik, who is leaving to pursue personal
projects, the firm said in a statement.
Previously serving as director of acquisitions for M&G Real Estate in Korea, Cho has helped drive the firm’s real estate investment activities in the market, where he has been involved in sourcing and executing on and off-market transactions, as well as structuring real estate deals to maximise risk-adjusted investment returns. His background also includes stints at KKR’s Asia real estate team, Mapletree and Ascendas, the firm added.
Cho, who will report to Jing Dong Lai, CEO and CIO, M&G Real Estate Asia, will also be working with Peter Kim, head of Korea Branch Office, M&G Investments, to develop relationships in the market.
