Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – IIFA

The latest moves and appointments for senior roles for Asia-Pacific wealth management.

Chris Cummings, chief executive of the UK Investment Association (IA) and Sally Wong, chief executive officer of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association have been elected as chair and deputy chair, respectively, of the International Investment Funds Association  board.

The IIFA is a global organisation whose members are primarily national and regional associations representing the investment funds (mutual funds) industry. There are 38 national associations and two regional associations which, collectively, have funds under management of $71.05 trillion, as year-end 2021.   

The 14-strong board of directors set the strategic direction for IIFA and direct its activities. The board, which has a term of two years, consists of representatives from North and South America, Europe, Asia Oceania and Africa. The secretariat of the IIFA is located within the Canadian association, The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC), which is based in Toronto.
