EquitiesFirst, a
global asset-backed financing specialist, has appointed David Oh
as executive director.
Based in Singapore, Oh will be responsible for building and managing relationships with South Korean clients, reporting into the wider Asia Group.
Oh brings more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and technology finance, with expertise in capital markets and investor relations in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings, as well as private fundraising. He also has significant experience in managing assets for high net worth individuals based in South Korea and Singapore.
Before joining EquitiesFirst, Oh advised on one of South Korea's most acclaimed technology startup M&A transactions, the acquisition of Woowa Brothers Corp by Delivery Hero. He has also worked for JP Morgan Securities and Standard Chartered Bank in South Korea.
iCapital
iCapital, an
alternative investments' platform, has appointed Tuan Lam as
Asia-Pacific head. The appointment builds on the firm’s Asia
expansion, for instance with its new offices in Tokyo,
Singapore and Hong Kong.
Based in Hong Kong, Lam reports to Marco Bizzozero, head of international business at iCapital.
Separately, Edwin Chan will retain his role as head of client solutions for APAC.
