Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Citigroup

The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in the Asia-Pacific wealth management sector.

Citigroup
Citigroup has made several appointments for its debt capital markets business for Asia-Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Anthony Yap will be joining the team as head of leveraged finance for Australia and New Zealand at the end of August. Prior to this, he worked at HSBC, most recently as head of private capital group coverage and financing, for Australia and New Zealand.

Maria Chua will be joining as director covering leveraged and syndicated loans in Southeast Asia in July, based in Hong Kong. Previously, Chua was head of leverage finance origination, Asia, at UBS. She has more than 15 years’ industry experience.

Both will report to Adrian Khoo and Deepak Dangayach, co-heads of DCM, Asia-Pacific. Yap will have an additional local reporting line to Ben Connolly and Philippe Perzi, co-heads of capital markets and advisory for Australia and New Zealand.

Citigroup's integrated business model, the corporate banking side of the lender, typically works closely with the private banking arm, given how many high net worth and ultra-HNW clients own operating companies.
