Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Capital Group

The latest senior wealth management moves and appointments in the Asia-Pacific region.

Capital Group, which oversees more than $2.7 trillion in assets, has appointed former Goldman Sachs senior figure Suyin Tan as managing director, financial intermediaries, for Singapore and Southeast Asia. 

Based in Singapore, Tan will lead the financial intermediary sales team, drive its distribution strategy and strengthen existing relationships with Capital Group’s financial intermediary clients in the region. She reports to Jeik Sohn, head of client group, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Most recently, Tan was an executive director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Prior to her nine-year venture at that US firm, she spent 13 years at Henderson Global Investors serving as a director based in Singapore where she spearheaded and implemented their retail distribution strategy.

Capital Group has been serving investors in the Asia-Pacific region for more than 30 years. Today, it has more than 400 investment professionals globally and six Asia-Pacific offices in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.
