Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Capital Group

The latest wealth management appointments and moves in the Asia-Pacific region.

Capital Group, the global investment house with more than $2.7 trillion in assets under management, has appointed David Cheng as fixed income investment director.

Based in Singapore, Cheng’s responsibilities will include representing Capital Group’s fixed income team, deepening client engagement on bonds and growing the firm’s fixed income business across Asia. He will focus on a range of fixed income investment strategies, including Capital Group Global High Income Opportunities (LUX) and Capital Group Global Corporate Bond Fund (LUX).

Cheng has more than two decades of industry experience, most recently as an investment director at Schroders in Singapore. Prior to that, he spent six years at UBS serving as the head of APAC ex-Japan investment specialists in Hong Kong and a portfolio manager in Chicago.

Capital Group, which has $497 billion of fixed income assets, has been managing them since 1973.
