Commercial real estate group CBRE has appointed Luke Moffat as
regional managing director, head of advisory and transaction
services, Asia-Pacific. Moffat is succeeding Manish Kashyap,
who has taken on a senior leadership role in the company as
global president, advisory and transaction services.
As head of CBRE’s A&T business in the region, Moffat will oversee a team of more than 2,000 professionals across 15 markets and commercial real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial and logistics, supply chain, data centres, workplace strategy and consulting.
“Luke has been an influential leader at CBRE and instrumental in the success of the business groups he has overseen throughout the past seven years. Under his leadership, CBRE’s Eastern China business and the Greater China A&T business have demonstrated impressive growth during unprecedented times. I am confident that our A&T business in Asia Pacific will be in good hands as it gears up for the next stage of growth and success,” Kashyap said.
Moffat was most recently CBRE’s regional managing director, Eastern China and head of advisory and transaction services, Greater China, and will be relocating from Shanghai to Singapore. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, and prior to joining CBRE, was a director at BlackRock in Singapore.
