Temasek Financial, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore sovereign wealth fund Temasek, is launching a 50-year bond, denominated in Singapore dollars. The issuance will be used to fund the “ordinary course of business,” Temasek said.

The bond, which is part of Temasek’s $25 billion Guaranteed Global Medium Term Note Programme, will be unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Temasek. Temasek has an overall corporate credit rating of “Aaa” by Moody’s Investors Service and “AAA” by S&P Global Ratings.

The bond will be listed and quoted on Singapore’s security exchange (SGX-ST).

Temasek’s press release did not state the size of the bond.
