What's New In Investments, Funds? - Neuberger Berman, Capital Group

The latest in funds and investments across Asia-Pacific.

Neuberger Berman Investment Management
Neuberger Berman Investment Management (Shanghai) has confirmed it is to roll out its first private fund for high-net-worth and institutional investors in China.

The launch will take place by the end of March and follows Neuberger Berman’s securing of a private fund management licence from the Asset Management Association of China in November last year.

A spokesperson for Neuberger Berman confirmed to this publication reports that the fixed-income fund will be run by Peter Ru, managing director and senior portfolio manager of the emerging markets debt team. Ru is based in Shanghai.

More strategies in China are being introduced this year.

Capital Group
Global asset management firm Capital Group, which has more than $1.6 trillion of assets under management, has launched a global corporate bond fund to its fixed- income offering.

Capital Group Global Corporate Bond Fund (LUX) is the latest addition to the Luxembourg domiciled UCITS fund range, and is part of a multi-year, strategic plan to give clients based in Europe and Asia, and non-resident clients (Latin American offshore), access to Capital Group’s US strategies.

The new fund joins a growing range of fixed-income funds launched in the past year including Capital Group US High Yield Fund (LUX) and Capital Group US Corporate Bond Fund (LUX).
