Hang Seng Indexes Company, has licensed one of its indices to CCB Principal Asset Management so that it can be the base for one of CCB’s exchange traded funds.

The benchmark is the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index.

Comprising large-cap mainland China enterprises listed in Hong Kong, the HSCEI is a barometer of the China market in Hong Kong. The HSCEI has 50 constituents.

The new ETF will bring the number of exchange-traded products linked to indices in the Hang Seng Family of Indexes to 75 - with listings on 17 stock exchanges worldwide. By the end of December 2018, assets under management in products passively tracking indices in the Hang Seng Family of Indexes reached a total of about $34 billion.
