AlphaMaven
AlphaMaven, the
alternative investment sector website, has launched investment
listings with more than 100 funds and managed accounts.
Participating managers span a cross-section of the sector, such
as hedge funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds, real
estate, and digital asset entities.
The managers of the site said that, unlike traditional investment databases, it enables managers to showcase research, awards, news, marketing materials, due diligence documents and videos, with full control over who can access specific content. Qualified industry participants can register free of charge, it said.
Investors who can use the platform include family offices, RIAs, pension funds, and ultra-high net worth investors.
Users can interact directly with fund managers; source new investments through comprehensive fund listings; follow listings to track manager updates, newsletters, presentations, and news all through a personalized feed; connect to access restricted documents; schedule Zoom meetings with prospect managers; organize documents in one location; manage the due diligence process; understand managers through AlphaMaven’s Video PitchBooks; take part in Investor Concierge, a program to facilitate video meetings based on their preferences and specific requests; create a professional profile and manage its visibility; connect, message, and post; interact on a peer-to-peer basis with fellow investors; and access more than 250,000 industry headlines, posts, videos, webinars, newsletters, and white papers.
Revelation Partners
Revelation
Partners, an investor in healthcare, has held the first and
final closing of its newest fund, Revelation Healthcare Fund III,
at its hard cap of $350 million. The offering was oversubscribed,
beating the $300 million initial target.
The firm, which now manages over $900 million of committed capital, specializes in providing shareholder liquidity, general partner solutions, and growth capital for private healthcare companies and investors. It invests across all healthcare sub-sectors, including medical devices, diagnostics, biotech, healthcare technology and healthcare services.
Separately, the firm also announced three recent appointments: Fred Lee, promoted to managing director; Doug Fisher, appointed to venture partner; Suchira Sharma, appointed to associate.
Lee joined Revelation Partners in 2018.
Dr Fisher joins the firm as a venture partner. Since 2009, he has been a member of the healthcare team at InterWest Partners as a partner and executive-in-residence, where he has focused on biopharma, diagnostics, and medical device investing.
Sharma joins from Hercules Capital where she worked as a senior analyst, underwriting and structuring multi-asset transactions for companies focused in clinical-stage biotechnology, specialty pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare technology.
