Amundi Hong Kong, part of European investment group Amundi, has launched an “all-weather” fund for retail investors in Hong Kong. It is designed to help investors navigate market cycles over the long term.

The new entity is Amundi Asia Funds – All Weather Income Fund. A fund of funds, it invests in global fixed income funds advised by DBS Bank and managed by Amundi.

The offering is designed to generate regular income and capital appreciation over the medium to long term, France-headquartered Amundi said in a statement.

Amundi is tapping into a perceived need for stable and reliable investments at a time of rising geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainties.

“With anticipated interest rate cuts and positive shifts in investment sentiment, our commitment to market-leading investment solutions remains unwavering. The All Weather Income Fund, developed in close partnership with Amundi, offers a robust fixed income solution,” Belinda Hsieh, head of treasures investment products and advisory, consumer banking group and wealth management at DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, said.
