Singapore-based 9Basil Group, an alternative investment firm backed by fund manager East Blue Ventures Pte, yesterday announced the final close of its second flagship private equity fund. 

The fund’s assets under management stood at more than $300 million as of the closing, 9Basil Group said. The fund has distributed more than $35.3 million this year.

Investors include high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutions from across Asia-Pacific and Europe.

9Basil, which takes either minority or majority ownership stakes in firms, has 22 employees in Bangkok and Singapore.
