Washington Wealth Management Recruits Advisors In Connecticut, California

Two advisors have switched from Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo to join independent hybrid RIA Washington Wealth Management, based in Connecticut and California respectively.
Two advisors have switched from Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo to join independent hybrid RIA Washington Wealth Management, based in Connecticut and California respectively.
Michael Lee, based in Westport, CT, will affiliate his boutique independent firm Pacilio Wealth Management to WWM, bringing with him $130 million in client assets. He moves from Morgan Stanley.
Ex-Wells Fargo advisor Nancy Tuininga will bring her San Diego, CA-based practice, Prosperity Point Wealth Management, to WWM as a standalone independent practice. Tuininga’s firm currently has $72 million in assets under management.
WWM offers advisors switching from big banks to independence turnkey practice management support and resources with a wide selection of affiliation choices, the firm said in a statement.
San Diego-headquartered Washington Wealth Management has now welcomed five advisory practices since its acquisition by National Financial Partners Corp in March; in May it recruited former Merrill Lynch broker Matthew Griffiths and his business 1626 Wealth Management in California.
Total assets under advisement at WWM now total approximately $1 billion, the firm said.
