Washington Wealth Adds Ex-Morgan Stanley Advisor In California

The SEC-registered investment advisory firm Washington Wealth Management has bolstered its Carmel Valley, CA office with the addition of William Blanton – latterly of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney - and his Vintage West Capital Management team.

Blanton is chief executive of Vintage West and has previously managed $170 million in assets. He and his team will form part of Washington Wealth's Carmel Valley office - which opened in December 2011 - under the management of branch director Mike Ferrante in San Diego, CA.

Washington Wealth said it has established six branch offices and appointed branch directors in ten cities nationwide since December 2010, when the firm was co-founded by CEO Tony Sirianni and founding partner Eric Nettere.

In other recent developments, Paul Dietrich, chief executive and chief investment officer at Foxhall Capital Management, was appointed as director of global research. In addition to his new post as director of global research at Washington Wealth, Dietrich retains his role as Foxhall's CIO.

Washington Wealth is headquartered in Middleburg, VA and launched with the strategy of enabling advisors to take ownership of their business while providing access to investment products and services from an independent wealth management platform.
