The new MD of the independent wealth firm is based in Singapore and brings three decades' experience in the sector to the role.

Mancuard Heritage has confirmed that Philipp Michel has joined its team in Singapore as managing director, according to his public profile. 

Holding the post since May, Michel previously worked for almost 23 years at UBS, much of that time in the Asian city-state. Prior to Singapore, he worked with UBS in Hong Kong. 

The firm, which has a team of more than 60 wealth and financial management specialists, has offices in Zurich, Singapore and Limassol (Cyprus). It works with a range of partners, most of them partially or fully owned by Marcuard Heritage, such as the Swiss-licensed fund manager Alpinum Investment Management, and the international fiduciary company swiss partners Marcuard Heritage. It also has a minority shareholding in a Geneva-based wealth management company, Atlantis Marcuard, and in FF Marcuard, based in Lugano. In August 2020 the firm had a brand makeover.
