US-Based Investment Advisor Joins Forces With Raymond James

Florida-headquartered Raymond James has welcomed a new wealth management firm to its network.

US-based independent investment advisory firm Wallace Hart Capital Management has chosen Raymond James as its custodial partner.

The team is comprised of Jeremy Wallace, co-founder and chief investment officer; Andrew Hart, co-founder and chief planning strategist; and Jessica Bedell, wealth management specialist.

Before launching their own firm, the trio worked for the world's largest wealth manager, UBS, where they managed more than $113 million in client assets.

“We didn’t want to start completely from scratch, so while we sought the independence of an registered independent advisor, we wanted all the back office support and technology both we and our clients had come to expect,” said Wallace. “As a custodial client of Raymond James, we get all the support of a big national firm but are totally free to serve our clients as we see best and as fee-only advisors.”

Wallace began his career in financial services in 1999 with Merrill Lynch and in 2008 moved to UBS.

Hart has worked in financial services for more than a decade. He kick-started his career with World Bank Credit Union and joined UBS in 2012, where he met Wallace.

Bedell began her financial services career with UBS in 2008.

“We are delighted that Jeremy, Andrew and Jessica selected Raymond James to be their custodial partner,” said Van Law, president of Raymond James' investment advisors unit. “They put a lot of thought and due diligence into making this decision, and concentrated on finding a true partner that provided the type of resources, platform, technology and service to enable them to deliver an extraordinary experience for their clients.”
