US Wealth Manager Acquires Retirement Advisor

National Penn Capital Advisors, a subsidiary of National Penn Bank, has beefed up its 401(k) business to larger companies by acquiring RESOURCES for Retirement, a retirement plan investment advisory firm based in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RESOURCES for Retirement is one of the top 20 plan advisors in the US.

After the acquisition, RESOURCES for Retirement will retain its name and current management, including president and founder, Trisha Brambley, while operating as a division of National Penn Capital Advisors, which has around $2 billion in client assets under management.
