US Investment Firm Launches Three ETFs In Hong Kong

US investment manager Vanguard launches three new ETFs in Hong Kong.

Vanguard, the US-headquartered investment management firm, has introduced three new exchange traded funds in Hong Kong.

The Vanguard FTSE Japan Index ETF, Vanguard FTSE Developed Europe Index ETF and Vanguard FTSE Asia ex Japan High Dividend Yield Index ETF intend to give Hong Kong investors the opportunity to diversify their portfolios across developed markets of Europe and Japan, according to a statement.

Each will adopt an indexing approach and track the performance of their respective underlying indices. The offer period began in 3 June and ends in 10 June 2014. The units will be available at an introductory price of HK$20 ($2.60) per unit, excluding transaction fees and other charges. 

They will then be listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on 13 June. The trading lot will be mininum 100 units. The minimum size for redemption or creation is 100,000 units.
