US Digital Investments Platform Names Wealth Industry Veteran To Board

US-based Active Allocator Holdings, a digital investments platform that enables to clients to oversee portfolios of traditional and alternative investments, has appointed a wealth management industry veteran to its board.
The firm has named Ken Shoji as an advisory board member, with immediate effect, a statement said last week.
Shoji is a managing director and chief investment officer of View Capital Advisors. Prior to joining View Capital, Shoji was the founder and managing partner of Stissing Lake Advisors, an investment advisory firm working with family offices and institutional investors.
Shoji has over 30 years of experience in asset management and investment banking. He has served as the chief operating officer of GSB Podium Advisors, a SEC-registered hedge fund, head of the alternative investment group for Dresdner Kleinwort, and a MD at The Mayfair Group, a private alternative investment firm.
He has also held positions in derivative sales and trading at Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust Company and J.P. Morgan, in New York, London and Tokyo. Ken is a CFA charter holder and graduated with a MA with Honours from the University of Edinburgh and a MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Active Asset Allocator Holdings says it is “the world's first portal that seamlessly integrates traditional, illiquid and alternative investments within portfolios”. The fintech “helps investors analyze existing allocations, discover inefficiencies and create bespoke portfolios in minutes”, it said.
