US Capital Advisors has hired Morris Gottesman in Austin, TX, as a senior managing director.

US Capital Advisors has hired Morris Gottesman - latterly of Wells Fargo - as a senior managing director in Austin, TX.

At Wells Fargo, Gottesman was a senior vice president of investments, serving high net worth clients. He began his career in commercial real estate but transitioned to the financial services industry in 1988 with Shearson. He moved to Prudential Securities in 2001, which merged with Wachovia and, ultimately, Wells Fargo Advisors.

The move reunites Morris with his long-time friend and former regional president, Ford McTee, who joined USCA two years ago to run USCA's Austin market.  

Based in Houston, TX, with additional offices in Dallas and Austin, US Capital Advisors describes itself as an integrated financial services boutique with primary business lines in wealth management and capital markets.

The firm’s wealth management division serves high net worth individuals and family offices.
