UK Private Client Law Firm Recruits Ex-Barclays Man

Harcus Sinclair, the London-based private client law firm, has
appointed former Barclays senior wealth management advisor Jonathan Burt as a partner,
the firm said today.

He will work in the private client, tax and trusts group,
joining on 17 September.

In his previous job, Burt worked at the wealth and
investment arm of Barclays (then known as Barclays Wealth) for five years,
latterly as managing director and head of key clients in its wealth advisory
business.

Prior to that firm, Burt was a partner in the private banking
group at Baker & McKenzie, the international law firm. While there, he was
rated in the Chambers Global Legal Directory as one of the top 20 private
client lawyers in any jurisdiction.

Burt’s role at Harcus Sinclair will see him work closely
with Keith Bruce-Smith and Lucy Gibson in the firm’s private wealth team.

The firm was created in 2002.
