UK's Brown Shipley Brings Back Employee After 11 Years At Swiss Giant

Jonathan Sherlock will return to UK-based Brown Shipley Private Bank, where he worked before spending 11 years at UBS.
Jonathan Sherlock will return to UK-based Brown Shipley Private Bank, where he worked before spending 11 years at UBS.
During his tenure at UBS, Sherlock worked in wealth management advisory and managerial roles. He also headed the bank's Manchester office.
He re-joins Brown Shipley today to take on a newly-created position as head of its Manchester office to drive business development in the northwest region.
Sherlock will report to Hugh Titcomb, Brown Shipley’s head of private banking, who said in a statement: “We already have a very substantial presence in Manchester and Jon’s significant client advisory and managerial experience will be invaluable as we continue to build our business in the area.”
Among recent appointments at the firm was that of Roger Clark as head of wealth management; he joined from C Hoare & Co, where he was head of wealth solutions.

With £2.1 billion ($3.18 billion) in assets under management, Manchester is Brown Shipley's largest office. It employs 95 staff, of whom 20 are client-facing wealth management advisors.
